Book Blogger Appreciation Week

Book Blogger Appreciation Week 2010 came to an end last Friday after a week long full of awesome happenings. We tried to take part as much as we could, blogging on the suggested topics and loads of other bloggers did too and you can read all of it here. Another cool thing about BBAW is the guest posts on their own website. Loads of cool stuff there and here’s some of our fave posts:

Raych‘s fabulous recap of the past year’s Good, Bad and Ugly.
Angie’s on Blogging about Forgotten Treasures
Katiebabs‘ on Blogging About Romance
Renay‘s on Reviewing GLBQT books

And finally, as you might know, Awards are a small yet important part of BBAW and it is with pride and joy that we announce that we have been awarded Best Speculative Fiction Blog!!

A HUGE THANK YOU to all who voted for us!!! And congratulations to all the other winners!

This Week on The Book Smugglers

On Monday, Thea reviews The Child Thief a Peter Pan retelling by Brom:

On Tuesday, Ana reviews Gentlemen by Michael Northrop:

And on Wednesday, our Guest Daree of the month reviews Stardoc by S L Viehl…

On Thursday we post our joint review of Ascendant, sequel to last year’s Rampant by Diana Peterfreund.

and finally on Friday, another joint review: this time of The Sevenfold Spell by Tia Nevitt.

And that’s it from us today!

As usual, we remain:

    Congrats on the award!

We’re massive FNL fans in our house – unfortunately none of our tv stations have picked it up here in in Australia. Totally in love with it (and a few of the actors!).
