Zero Sum Game by SL Huang: Giveaway of Signed Copies!

Hello everybody! TGIF!

Zero Sum Game by SL Huang is out now and the author popped over to the Tor Towers and signed some copies of this super cool SF Thriller – and we are excited to have four signed copies to give away here and one over on Instagram!

The Book:

Cas Russell is good at math. Scary good. The vector calculus blazing through her head lets her smash through armed men twice her size and dodge every bullet in a gunfight, and she’ll take any job for the right price.

As far as Cas knows, she’s the only person around with a superpower…until she discovers someone with a power even more dangerous than her own. Someone who can reach directly into people’s minds and twist their brains into Moebius strips. Someone intent on becoming the world’s puppet master.

Cas should run, like she usually does, but for once she’s involved. There’s only one problem…
She doesn’t know which of her thoughts are her own anymore.

This sounds like a very original work of calculus and mind-control sci-fi!

I’ve been getting more into sci-fi lately (I’m an avid fantasy reader and have thought for a long time that sci-fi wasn’t my thing but amazing authors like Aliette de Bodard and Kate Elliott have slowly started to change my mind) and I loved Hunting Monsters so this sounds like another perfect try!

I am intrigued…especially over the scope of the would-be puppet master.

I mean, how did Cas discover this person and their power in the first place?

Sounds like an unreliable narrator – which might be my favourite type of narrator!

Yay for Book Smugglers! (I have my copy of Little Homo Sapiens Scientist!)

I just finished re-reading Zero Sum Game, and it was just as fun as the first time, and I caught a few more of the math jokes that I hadn’t noticed before.
