This Week on The Book Smugglers:

We kick off the week on Monday, with Ana’s list of comfort middle grade and young adult reads–because let’s face it, we all need it right now.

My most excellent year

Tuesday, we announce our very first season of novellas and formally kick off our novella initiative. Plus, Thea reviews the surprisingly wonderful Scythe by Neal Schusterman.

And on Thursday, we post an essay from Seanan McGuire that initially appeared in our most recent almanac: “Where to Begin with Portal Fantasies”.

Finally, we close out the week on Friday with Thea’s hopeful list of SFF novels from and by women, people of color, and LGBTQ voices.
