About the book:

The Pacific Ocean is a big thing to steal, but Quietly’s roommate Imani never does anything small. But then Imani goes and dies, and Quietly is left to travel to the Under-Ath (the underworld beneath Athens, Georgia), with angry gods at her heels, to clean up the mess Imani left behind and try to rescue her friend.

All Rivers Run to Salt is written by Rachael K. Jones with cover art from Anna Zee. A few words from the publisher:

“Working with Anna Zee to interpret Rachael’s novella visually has been a treat. Anna quickly honed in on the core of this story: Imani didn’t just steal the Pacific Ocean and put it in a jar—she stole our protagonist’s heart, too.”
