Hello everyone, and HAPPY SUNDAY! We are nearly at the end of our very first Kickstarter campaign… so let’s jump into it, shall we?
We are three days away from reaching the end of our Kickstarter campaign–thanks to your support and generosity, we have hit our funding goal early and now we are in stretch territory! Right now we are at $17,187–just a few hundred dollars away from our first stretch goal of $18,100 which will be used to increase pay to our website contributors (and the above patch will be gifted to backers at the $45 level and available as an add-on). If we get to $20,000 we will be publishing a serialized fiction piece by the awesome JY Yang. And if we get beyond that, there’s one more stretch goal of awesome we will announce this week. Thank you, everyone, for your encouragement and support–we cannot wait to bring you another year of awesomeness in short fiction and essays in SFF fandom.
This Week on The Book Smugglers
On Monday, we kick off the week over at Kirkus with a look at some season-appropriate horror.
Tuesday, we are delighted to host another spot on our ongoing Roundtable with small business owners and female entrepreneurs–our guest is indie Australian publisher, Twelfth Planet Press.
On Wednesday it is our official LAST DAY of Kickstarter mode–we have some fun stuff planned, so stay tuned!
Thursday, we return back to our regular programming with a review of Mask of Shadows by Linsey Miller…
And on Friday, Ana closes the week out over at Kirkus with her review of The Murders of Molly Southbourne by Tade Thompson.
We are nearly there, friends! Until tomorrow, we remain…
